NYG provides excellent care. I say this not simply as a biased employee, but as someone who was a patient numerous times before being on the payroll. 

While spending a week on the cardiology unit last year thanks to my chaotic heart, I was treated not only with dignity and respect, but with warmth. I received excellent care from everyone I interacted with, from doctors and nurses to dietary staff. Random staff provided smiles and encouragement when me and my IV stand practiced walking in the hallways. This provided comfort during a decidedly uncomfortable time.
