To my fellow Ravine creatures,
What is Team #GetScrappy? We are a tightknit team of resilient, road-ready Rally fundraisers come together to hit the ground for North York General.
Under the watchful helm of myself (a local raccoon who is, admittedly, a little competitive), this team has but one shared goal: to scrap together more funds for NYG than any other team this year… by far.
Because what are raccoons if not resilient? They figure it out. They make it work. They get it done.
Three tips for fundraising like a raccoon:
1. Use what’s around you
Start with your inner circle—friends, family,co-workers. A quick message goes a long way, especially when you share why NYG matters to you.
2. Be a little bold
Raccoons don’t wait around. Post it, share it, send it. The more people who see your page, the faster your impact grows.
3. Stay persistent
Not everyone gives the first time—and that’s okay. A friendly follow-up can make all the difference.
