Here for [a quarter of my] Life

Did you know that this year marks my (cumulative) 10 year anniversary working at North York General? I have not just worked here for A DECADE, but I have worked here for A QUARTER OF MY LIFE.

When I first started at NYG, I had an eyebrow ring, a purple BlackBerry Curve 8520, an Etienne Aigner bag, Spice Girls on my iPod, and no idea what the hell I was doing (don't tell anyone). Fast forward to today, where I've swapped the eyebrow ring with tattoos, my Blackberry for Google (begrudgingly), Etienne Aigner for a Blackbaud rucksack, Spice Girls on my iPod to Spice Girls on Spotify, and a helluva lot more confidence in myself (as long as I don't have to deal with Outlook or Excel). 

But, I'm not just a employee of the hospital, I've also been a patient here too.

From ER visits to day surgery, seeing specialists to (still!) being an outpatient, this hospital really has been here for [a quarter of my] life.
